Barinda Indian is an award wining Indian Takeaway & Restaurant, finest in South Manchester. First opened as a Takeaway in February 1997 it’s been an instance success with all the local residence.

In December 1999 due to huge demand we decided to open the  first bring your own wine & beer Indian restaurant in South Manchester.

In 2003 Barinda received 'Food Safety award' , 'Heart Beat' and 'Roy Castle Good Air'  award from Lord Mayor, since then we have been receiving multiple awards every year.

Barinda was finalist in 'Curry Chef Competition' in 2003 and 2008.

We are very popular for outside catering, and we have catered for number of Celebrities and local establishments. we have also catered for Coleen McLaughlin's 21st Birthday Indian section of food.

In August 2008 we decided to expand from 32 seats to 40 seats due to huge demand from the customers.

In 2009 Barinda received 4 Star Awards for 'Scores On The Door', highest for an  Indian Restaurant & Takeaway in Stockport.
